C-Hook Spreader is an intermediate lifting accessory positioned between a hoist and a load. They act as a crosspiece for spacing the hooks or chains that hold loads such as bundles, rolls, cylinders and machinery. It enables the load to be hooked up, guaranteeing optimum stability and reduced headroom.
A lifting beam has a simple design consisting of a beam with a single attachment point centered on the top side of the beam for connecting to a crane, hoist, or other lifting machine. Some lifting beams may have two bails in order to engage two crane or hoist hooks. There are typically two or more evenly-spaced lifting lugs on the underside of the beam that attach to and support the load via hook or sling. It allows lifting objects whose weight is not equilibrated or objects that have a singular design that doesn't allow to be lifted with a standard lifter.

The specifications of C-type hook spreader include 5T, 10T, 15T, 20T, 25T, 30T, 35T, 40T, etc., which can be customized according to needs. Its safety factor is 3 times, suitable for 1-100 tons load range .
Usage method : When using the C-type hook spreader, lower the spreader to about 0.5 meters away from the end face of the rolled plate to be hoisted. The worker supports the hook, moves the hook slowly, inserts the bearing beam at the lower end of the spreader into the middle hole of the rolled plate, and makes the inner side of the vertical beam close to the end face of the rolled plate. The length of the bearing beam must contain more than two-thirds of the length of the coil plate, and adjust the length of the balanced hanging system according to the overall dimensions of the coil plate, so as to avoid the roll plate inclination .
Storage and maintenance : After use, the C-type spreader must be put on the shelf, stored in a ventilated, dry and clean workshop, and kept by special personnel. The surface of the spreader should be regularly protected against rust, and it is not allowed to be stored in acid, alkali, salt, chemical gas and humid environment. Clean the rotating parts regularly and apply lubricating oil regularly to prevent dry friction and blocking .
