Typical bulk cargo at ports includes grains, animal food, ores, coal and coke, cement, biomass, phosphates and other fertilizers, etc. Loading and unloading these goods will generate a large amount of dust. Therefore, controlling the generation of dust is the primary goal to reduce the pollution caused by the handling of dry bulk materials at ports.

Different types of dust have varying degrees of impact on health, but the most serious impact of dusty goods is the harm to the respiratory systems of humans and animals. Ports are increasingly in need of multi-functional, flexible and environmentally friendly material handling equipment.
