Clamshell Scissors clamshell Grab Bucket Used for Grab Ship-Unloader    
Scissors grab is scissors structure which is connected by main hinge, and scoop is connected by scissors beam,simple structure. There will be pulley,strengthening beam and tube installed on beam. Support chain is fixed on strengthening tube to connect with upper beam to lift teh whole grab. The open and close of scissors beam is controlled by shaft rotation of center hinge under action of wire rope winding system .   The Scissors grab has the highest average productivity and is known for its stability on sloping surfaces. It has excellent cleaning-up capabilities, very good digging and filling specifications and extremely short cycle times.   The robust design guarantees long life expectancy and low maintenance costs.

The advantages of the shear grab mainly include the following aspects :
High grabbing ratio : the weight of shear grab is light, taking 52t ore grab as an example, the weight of the conventional long pole grab is about 20t, while the weight of the shear grab is only 17t, the grabbing ratio is increased from 1.6 to 2.05, and the weight of each grab is reduced by about 3t, which greatly improves the production efficiency .

High efficiency : In the grasping process of the shear grab, the digging force gradually increases with the closure of the grab, which matches the digging force required to grab the goods, making the grasping efficiency greatly improved. Smaller opening and closing strokes can be completed, saving time and energy
Wide opening : The scissors grab has a wide opening, and the grasping area per bucket is 60% higher than that of the long pole grab, which makes the clearance work more efficient and does not require additional excavators or rakers
Low failure rate : because the shears and pins of the scissors grab are less, the failure rate of the wearing parts is reduced and the reliability of the equipment is improved
Optimal design : The shear grab adopts virtual design technology, and the strength is checked and optimized by ANSYS, which makes the weight distribution of the grab more reasonable and the service life longer
